You may think that the cross engine software is a load of Pollux (see trailer to understand terrible joke) but the people at SE have quite a bit of faith behind the Wii / DS crossover title given the heavy presence at recent gaming expositions and even vouching to release a limited edition Nintendo DSi bundle.
